Neil Crockett

Neil was appointed CEO of the Digital Catapult in 2013, tasked with driving the Digital Catapult’s rapid growth and delivering its ambitious vision.  His vision for the Digital Catapult is to help enable and accelerate digital innovators to bring their great ideas to market and to ultimately help grow the UK economy and make the UK a better place to live.
In just one year, Neil has built up a 50 strong team, who collectively, are working to deliver an array of pioneering digital projects. 
Before joining the Digital Catapult, Neil worked at Cisco for 14 years, where he held a number of senior roles. Most recently he was Managing Director – London 2012 and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Cisco’s Olympics sponsorship. 
Neil has also worked at Arthur Anderson, Rank Xerox, Compaq Computers. 
Outside of his role at the Digital Catapult, Neil is a Governor at Coventry University, is involved with Co-Operation Ireland, the largest Irish peace charity, works as part of the Matrix group in Northern Ireland and is on the Smart London Advisory Board.
Originally from Northern Ireland, Neil now lives in Stratford-upon-Avon.  He has a degree in Political Science from Newcastle University
